The beauty of blogging...

Today I took the time to look through the blogs of all the people on our "fellow favorite bloggers" list. Many blogs are so entertaining! I laughed, I cried (yes, I'm a weenie), and I'm coming back for more. Reading about friends and family, many of which I don't get to see very often, if ever, was so fulfilling. Rich, rich lives. It seems that a blog is a wonderful outlet to find gratitude and introspection.

I have always kept a journal, but nothing worth passing through the generations. You know, I actually kept a better journal before I joined the LDS church and found out that someone might want to read it someday to learn about their great-great-grandma Emily. Chilling thought. When I realized that I immediately threw away all my journals from Jr. High and High School. Maybe it was a mistake, but I still don't miss them. I still keep a journal but the entries are few and far between. I always feel like there is so much to catch up on I don't know where to start.

Blogging is the perfect combination of journaling for oneself and staying in touch with friends and family. Hopefully you all will find this to be true as well. Check out the blogs of those you know or find interesting. Signing out.

Totally Agree! Happy Anniversary! 10 years...has it really been that long? You must have gotten married when you were 10...you look so young! :)
I love reading about your little family...feels like I'm not living 1000 miles away from everyone.
Hugs,
Sarah
PS - John and Ash said there's a company that will print up your blog and make it into a book - and there you have it...instant journal...with pictures!

One of my interns at BYU just had a baby and she named him William Aaron. I just thought that was funny and you might think so too. I think it must be Aaron's backwards twin. So far this phenomenon is manifest in that he has blonde hair, Aaron has dark brown hair. We'll have to see what else unfolds during this kid's first year of life. :) If you want to see for yourself go to http://aaronandheidi.blogspot.com/
